Established in the year 1994 by UTEP geology professor Dr. Phil Goodell, Celebration of Our Mountains has proudly sponsored a diverse range of events focused on hiking, biking, birding, climbing, photographing, geology and archaeology of the greater El Paso / Southern New Mexico region. In addition to these outdoor activities, we also offer engaging field trips that explore various aspects of human history and architecture, science, and technology, providing an educational experience. Our events cater to participants of all ages and skill levels, ensuring that everyone can find something enjoyable and accessible. Our trips and events are intended to be both educational and recreational, promoting a connection with the natural world. On request, we can also organize events tailored specifically for private groups and organizations. Celebration of Our Mountains is recognized as a 501c3 nonprofit organization and depends on your contributions and support to continue delivering our programs.
